Are you doing enough to protect your skin from light

  • Diffuse the light and sun you are exposed to.
  • Reapply
  • Reapply after swimming
  • Avoid sun from 2-10 during the day
  • Block and Screens with effective SPF, Visible light, LED  Blue Light and Infrared Light protection. You need UVA and UVB protection
  • Brace your skin internally against free radical damage, this is aided diet and supplements
  • Brace your skin against environmental pollution, the right hats and clothing are important and staying in the shade helps
  • Don’t use expired sun screen products
  • Buy a reliable product, did you know there was a report that said that three of five brand-name products “either don’t protect the skin from sun damage sufficiently, contain hazardous chemicals, or both, according to a report by the watchdog organization Environmental Working Group
  • Mineral makeup can protect faster than a cream sunscreen which has to be absorbed
  • A sunscreen that inflames your skin will be slightly counter productive as it will increase your body’s propensity to damage itself; so get the right product
  • Tinted products do protect slightly better
