How MonaLisa Touch Therapy Cures a Sperm Allergy

Not very many women have an allergy to sperm, and actually when we say sperm allergy, we mean allergy to a component of the semen itself referred to medically as the seminal plasma.

Some food and medication substances can appear in the semen, and if this is what triggered an allergic reaction, the allergy won’t appear if that element is avoided by the male partner!

If a reaction will occur, it occurs within the first 30 minutes after sex. Not everyone has a reaction after the first episode, and it can develop over time.

If you have a sperm allergy it will get worse over time and you won’t just ‘get used to’ your partner’s sperm.

Most women who have sperm allergy will be diagnosed in their 20s or 30s, but rarely it can develop at an earlier age.

Most people who develop sperm allergies have other allergic symptoms, but there can be triggers such as IUD use.

Most sperm allergy symptoms are actually system wide, but about 1/3 of cases have a local reaction and symptoms.

Virtually all sperm allergies can be avoided with the use of condoms, however those women with condom allergies don’t have a lot of choices!

There are no good treatments up to now, but one study has shown some benefit from MonaLisa Touch vaginal rejuvenation therapy, including effects such as calming levels of immunoglobulins that might mediate this response.

If you think you have had an allergic reaction after sex, come in for a consultation.
