Hatha Yoga and Fitness Pleased To Have our First Ever Breast Cancer Awareness Yoga and Barre Event

I am Suzanne Trupin,MD the CEO and Owner of Hatha Yoga and Fitness, Hada Cosmetic Medicine, and Women’s Health Practice. First, I want to thank Darci Outlaw, Anora Frey, the Hatha Yoga and Fitness manager, Kristina Resse, our lead yoga teacher for their coordination of this event which raised $4504 for breast cancer. We would also like to thank Mills Breast Cancer Institute for their tireless efforts in combating breast cancer; and thank them for the honor of partnering with us today.  During the month of October I like to reflect on the contribution that my team and our businesses have made, and are continuing to make to help you as individuals, we as a community, and globally in fighting breast cancer; and also by fighting all cancers by continuing to focus on a holistic approach to wellness. At Women’s Health Practice Clinical Research Division we have participated in over 100 research trials, including those that have expanded the concept of  the breast cancer prevention medications of tamoxifen, raloxifene, osphenifeme, and bazedoxifene. Now we are recruiting for a Phase 3 Clinical Trial with fezolinetant which may be the first non-hormonal non-antidepressant treatment for hot flashes that may be able to treat menopausal symptoms in women with breast cancer who cannot be on estrogen therapy, and are hoping women with hot flashes will contact us to participate in this research. We at Women’s Health Practice and Hada Cosmetic Medicine are pleased to be the leaders in Illinois for Therapeutic Alternatives for the treatment of feminine disorders in breast cancer patients and others. We were the first practice in Illinois, six years ago, to bring MonaLisa Touch therapy. In addition to the the Mona Lisa Touch therapy, we offer ThermiVa Radiofrequency Treatments, and Emsella FDA cleared treatment of incontinence for women and men, all of which are non-invasive. Finally, I also want to be sure we understand that obesity and inactivity are two of the most important reversible causes of cancer. We offer fitness and strategies to promote the nutritional strategy of leanness to help you reduce your personal cancer risks.
