Women Talking To Each Other

Fractional CO2 laser therapy, delivered with the Mona Lisa Touch laser at Women’s Health Practice, is for the treatment of vulvar and vaginal dryness, and the urinary and genital issues of women as they transition through perimenopause into menopause.

The therapies have been available for many years, and additional studies have been published affirming effectiveness and safety.

Vaginal rejuvenation, urinary incontinence, the treatment of lichen sclerosus, and sexual improvement including treatment of sexual pain, are all conditions which potentially benefit from this therapy.

The treatments are typically given in a series of 3, spaced 6 weeks apart.

Women find the treatments comfortable, and rare side effects could be minor vaginal infections, urinary irritation, localized temporary pain, or temporary vaginal discharge.

At Women’s Health Practice we can design a treatment plan that is suited to your needs, call for a consultation.

These treatments are FDA cleared, but still considered in the early stages of study by some women’s health organizations.
