The new science of metabolomics (the studies of metabolism in our body)\nthus shows differences between men and womn<\/li><li>These metabolic differences are thought to be\nthe cause of problems like interstitial cystitis or bladder pain diseases which\noccur in females 9 times as often as in men<\/li><li>Women have a greater variety of bugs in their\nurine than men do<\/li><li>Women carry more bacteria in their urine than\nmen do, most women have at least 2-3 and up to 49 different bacteria at all\ntimes in their urine, women with overactive bladder have up to 59 different\nbacteria in their urine at all times<\/li><li>Female urine will contain many of the bacteria\nnormally in the female vagina<\/li><li>Microbiome, or the normal bacteria in the urine\nof anyone varies by age as well as hormone status<\/li><li>Scientist think that eventually they will have\nto consider sex when looking at ways to analyze urine, but we aren\u2019t quite\nthere yet. <\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Men and women have vastly different urine!
