{"id":2604,"date":"2021-07-20T00:19:29","date_gmt":"2021-07-20T00:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blog.womenshealthpractice.com\/?p=2604"},"modified":"2021-07-20T00:19:30","modified_gmt":"2021-07-20T00:19:30","slug":"fatigue-bowel-and-bladder-dysfunction-and-depression-might-be-endometriosis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.womenshealthpractice.com\/?p=2604","title":{"rendered":"Fatigue, Bowel and Bladder Dysfunction and Depression MIGHT be Endometriosis"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Gynecologists and their clients have focused on the implants of endometriosis in the pelvis, but this is now thought to not be the most important part of endometriosis as a condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Like other serious health issues it&#8217;s generalized inflammation that causes the most harm to women. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Inflammation of endometriosis can cause bowel issues, bladder dysfunction, anxiety, depression, or fatigue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It is thought that the implants of endometriosis may cause distant spread through the body to cause these outcomes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Taylor from Yale thinks this consequence of inflammation is what explains why women with Stage I disease can have the same amount of pain and illness as women with Stage 4 disease. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a mouse research studies they show that the presence of endometriosis can cause actual changes in the electrophysiology of the brain! This could explain why women with endometriosis have more anxiety!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any solution that ignores inflammation will ultimately be doomed to only partial success. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Come for a consultation to consider how you could lower inflammation.
