Moreover these system malfunction causes many health hazards<\/strong>. Shift workers have increased risks for cardiovascular disease and diabetes and now we think this may be due to other factors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A new study from Canada shows that women who perform shift work undergo later menopause. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While in some ways having menopause later might seem &#8216;youthful&#8217; a later menopause can cause some health risks by increasing breast cancer risk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When we assess the consequences of shift work what we want to know are all the ways it disrupts your heath: Are you eating poorly because of not enough meal prep time? Are you getting enough total sleep?
