These Signs Mean You Have Unhealthy Vaginal Bacteria

We all know that vaginal discharge that is abnormal or changed from your is the first sign that you have unhealthy vaginal bacteria! So when evaluating the discharge for signs of unhealthy bacteria look for any changes in the volume, color, or odor of vaginal discharge. For treatments, especially if over the counter products didn’t work, it’s more about normalizing the bacteria rather than adding in medication which is why we think about some of the vaginal RF or laser therapies as part of overall health. Other signs can include

●Vaginal Pruritus or itching

●Stinging or Burning of the Vagina

●Irritation, on the outside or on the inside of the vagina

●Redness, also called erythema, or swelling or tenderness to touch the genital tissues

●Painful, uncomfortable, or dryness with sex.

●Spotting, bleeding, not related to your menstrual period

●Almost any bladder symptom, including painful urination called dysuria
